IDC is seeking a Research Director, Worldwide in our Digital Transformation Strategies practice. The Research Director will spearhead research into the dynamic and flourishing Digital Transformation (DX) market. DX is at the center of modern business strategy and DX maturity is a critical determinant of organizational competitiveness. Direct investment in this arena is expected to be over $10 trillion across hardware, software, and services for DX over the next five years. This position will work collaboratively with other analysts in IDC's technology and industry research practices to identify the top use cases for DX by industry and business functions. Why IDC? Responsibilities Planning and execution of a compelling research agenda that offers both quantitative and qualitative components Subject matter expert both within and external to IDC and will be tapped for consulting engagements in addition to contributing to a published research agenda Provide support for consulting engagements in the DX space and actively work with colleagues and sales to develop opportunities Deliver presentations at client events, conferences and in smaller meetings Travel for industry events and customer projects as needed. Given pandemic conditions, travel commitments will change over time Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 10
years of pertinent technology industry experience as an industry analyst, marketer, product manager, journalist, or other related role/s are required Strong verbal and written communications skills essential. The position requires successful candidate to provide quantitative analysis and insight on the changing DX market to clients in a clear and compelling way Excellent writing, research, and investigational skills desired. A strong comfort level with writing is an essential for success in this position An analytical mind with a strong desire to uncover trends and patterns through a combination of qualitative and quantitative research Demonstrable track record and passion for superior client service as direct client interaction will be a critical component of the role The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, collaborative, and decisive Interest in strengthening existing client relationships and driving new business opportunities. Willingness to partner with IDC sales, often taking the lead in identifying new opportunities and crafting effective proposals to grow revenue. Strong ties to current IDC clients/prospects a plus Proficiency with MS Word, Excel (including pivot tables) for modeling and forecasting, PowerPoint, and the ability to learn to use various IDC resources for document preparation, publishing, client inquiry tracking, and program financial performance Ability to travel up to 25-30% This role can be located in our Needham, MA headquarters or in an approved remote location
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Digital Marketing & Social MediaEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
